- No more oppression! the ant screamed. - No more forced labour! No more bug sprays and flytraps!
- Excuse me, the ladybug interrupted. - How long will this revolution take? I have to be home making soup for my children...
- And I'll become a butterfly soon, said the caterpillar. - And this kind of rioting is hardly appropriate behaviour for something as beautiful as a butterfly.

P.S. A Very Big Thank You to ~pixelspotlight for suggesting and ^Katmomma for featuring this as a Daily Deviation. Thank you!

Daily Deviation

Given 2009-03-11
The Very Small Revolution by *pesare "The first thing I though when I saw this was 'Too cute for words!' and it definitely is - the characters and little details like the backwards letter on the banner make it so. But reading the artist's description, it also gives a thoughtful and poignant view on the world and our attitude towards it - that nothing will happen if we don't do something." I can see why Katmomma featured you as a Daily Deviation. You are very talented. Not only do you create wonderful art, you also obviously have a deep personal philosophy. Your words are thought-provoking, the picture has a double message. Indifference is one of the many things that is killing our planet.
